Did you notice that Kelly Osbourne seem to have gained weight, yet again? She is said to have put on 5 pound in the last award season, as she covers the events for E! channel’s Fashion Police, and is looking rounder that ever.
The 26-year-old daughter of rocker legend Ozzy and wife Sharon Osbourne, who struggled almost all her teen life with self-image and her weight, not to mention battling drug addiction and low self-esteem on the side, claims that she has shoot up from being UK size 8 (US size 4) to a size 10 (US size 6) and mentions that “I’m glad I’ve had time to myself now the awards season is over. I’ve been able to get back into my gym routine.”
It is remembered that it was her hook up with dance partner Louis Van Amstel during her stint at Dancing with the Stars in 2009, several months after she got out of rehab, that she lost a considerable amount of baby fat and a considerable amount of weight too, 50 glorious pounds to be exact!
It was also during those times when she revealed her sexy size 2 bikini body in the cover of Shape magazine. How did she manage to achieve that is no secret. It was her dance partner who taught her the art of healthy eating and introduced her to turkey burgers and salads. She developed the healthy habit of starting to eat breakfast, drinking water instead of soda, and snacking in the evening, which all seem to have work wonders for her. She began eating healthy and has these delectable foods on her plate daily:
- Breakfast – raisin bran with low-fat milk
- Morning snack – dill pickles
- Lunch – chopped salad with low-fat morrazella and chickpeas
- Afternoon snack – babybel light cheese
- Dinner – turkey burger with steamed vegetables
Her mother, Sharon, also introduced Kelly to her would-be fitness trainer, Sarah Hagaman and they would take long hikes a few times a week in the Hollywood Hills. She also began working in the gym and started doing Plyometrics and Pilates with her girlfriends.
